Homemade Candied Pecans ~ Sugar Free Recipe

Hi this is Karen from foo jazz and today I'm making candied pecans and they're sugar-free but I promise you they're delicious so you're going to need two cups of pecans one egg white and I'm using the equivalent of 1 cup of sugar by using equal parts of Truvia and sweet and low or you could use Splenda 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 3/4 of a teaspoon of salt to the egg white you want to add 1 tablespoon of water and you want to whip this egg white until it's nice and frothy and then you're going to pour this over your pecans and mix them until they are well coated in the egg white now to your sweetener you want to add the cinnamon and the salt and mix it together well you're going to pour this over the pecans and you want to reserve about a tablespoon of it for later use mix the pecans well making sure that they are well coated and now you want to pour your pecans out on parchment lined cookie sheets and spread them around you want to bake these at 225 for about 50 minutes taking them out of the oven every 15 minutes and turning them so that they don't burn and while they're baking check out my friend and it easy gluten free she has a ton of delicious recipes and you don't have to be on a gluten-free diet to enjoy them when the pecans come out of the oven while they're still hot you want to sprinkle them with that reserved sweetener and in about 30 minutes when they've cooled you've got a delicious snack they're also great on a salad or in your morning oatmeal I hope you enjoy this recipe thanks for watching
