Roasted pumpkin seeds 3 ways // MoreSaltPlease

What up everyone welcome back to more salt because it is Halloween I decided to make something very festive pumpkin seeds now I did not cut open a pumpkin clean out all the insides rinse and dry these seeds I got them from the grocery store they're also known as pepitas now of course you can do it the old-fashioned way and get your seeds from an actual pumpkin but if you want to be lazy like me go ahead and buy yourself some pepitas from the grocery store if you're using traditional pumpkin seeds from an actual pumpkin you're going to clean them off rinse them and dry them make sure they're really dry or else they won't really roast properly but if you are buying your pumpkin seeds from the grocery store there's really no preparation required so today I'm going to be showing you how to make three different variations of roasted pumpkin seeds all are very delicious but they're all really different one of them is oil free and the other two have oil on them just so that the seasonings and stuff like that can stick to them so if you want an oil free version I'm going to share that one first the oil free recipe is going to be ginger soy roasted pumpkin seeds for this you're going to need a one cup of pumpkin seeds 1/4 cup of soy sauce one teaspoon of freshly grated ginger 1 teaspoon of garlic powder one tablespoon of sugar and a pinch of red pepper flakes you're going to mix everything together in a bowl spread it out on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and roast in the oven at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes stirring halfway through I recommend checking them after 13 minutes you don't want them to burn but just play it by ear every oven is different and they all have different temperatures once you pull them out of the oven you can go ahead and top them with roasted sesame seeds these guys are so flavorful and so amazing the second flavor of roasted pumpkin seeds I'm showing you how is cinnamon-sugar for this you're going to need a one cup of pumpkin seeds one and a half tablespoons of melted coconut oil 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt mix that together spread on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and roast in the oven for the same amount of time as the ginger soy the last flavor of roasted pumpkin seeds I am sharing with you today is rosemary garlic for this you need 1 tablespoon of canola oil 2 sprigs of minced rosemary one clove of garlic and salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste roast in the oven at 350 for 13 to 15 minutes just like the other two and you have yourselves some amazing delicious pumpkin seeds these make perfect snacks for any Halloween party you're going to this year I hope you guys enjoyed the recipe and if you did give it a thumbs up subscribe down below if you haven't already and stay tuned for my next video love you guys so much don't forget to take care of yourself eat good food and I'll see you in the next one yo what's going on guys well welcome back to more salt today I am going to be showing you how to make homemade sushi without using a sushi mat
